"As Above & Below"
As Above and Below is a new series of fantasy Sword & Smut novels by Dana T. Mcknight that take place in the world of "Hoess", a dark pre-industrial fantasy realm segregated between a subterranean underworld ruled by True Elves and the Above, the domain of man.
As Above & Below is Queer. It is grimy. It is A.I free. It is (fairly) well-written.
It is a heroine tribbing on a snail-slimed rock in the mist-clad forests! It is an FMC dispatching loin-clothed thugs, rescuing a MANSEL-in-distress and then consensually bottoming for them. It is not taking itself seriously while also being reeeaally hot.
So let us Destroy the inherent trad-wifery of Romantasy! Spit in your lover's mouth! Pound that Prostate! No one is getting pregnant and barefoot in here (ok, maybe some dudes can for the plot).

Dana T. McKnight is a multimedia artist whose overall body of work combines illustration, experimental sound, sculpture, installation, performance art, painting, speculative fiction and poetry. They are also the creator of The Tiny Minotaur, an IRL fantasy tavern in Austin, TX.
McKnight's identity and subsequent experiences as a Black, queer person are at the forefront of many of their works and artistic ventures. "At the core of Dana McKnight's work, lies a surreality--- the real world slowly picked apart through a lens tinted by magical realism and lived experience."
They live in Austin, TX and love going to metal/punk/experimental shows, firepits, eating hotdogs with friends and scowling.
